I do like reading a book, but, actually, I haven't read any book since I have been at Boston. There are several reasons why I didn't read a book. Best of all, I think I was scared to read Englins books. In Korea, I tried to read some books in English, for example, 'Can you keep my secret?' and 'The twilight', but I could not finish reading them.
One day, I had a good mind to go bookstore in order to find a book to read. So I went to Borders. At the coner of best-seller books, I spent estimated 30 minutes selecting a book, cause I am a stranger to US book market. What leads to my attention was a book named 'Dear John' by Nicholas Sparks. I heard about a movie named 'Dear John' from my friend.
Dear John is a sad love story about a soldier named John Tyree and a girl named Savannah Lynn Curtis. John dropped out of school and enlisted in the Army, not knowing what else to do with his life until he meets the girl of his dreams, Savannah. Their mutual attraction quickly grows into the kind of love that leaves Savannah waiting for John to finish his tour of duty, and John wanting to settle down with the woman who has captured his heart. But 9/11 changes everything. John feels it is his duty to re-enlist. And sadly, the long separation finds Savannah falling in love with someone else. Dear John, the letter read and with those two words, a heart was broken and two lives were changed forever. Returning home, John must come to grips with the fact that Savannah, now married, is still his true loveand face the hardest decision of his life.
I have a plan to see a movie, if I finish to read this book. It's kind of studying English to me. I am interested to study by doing what I like, reading a book. Good to read!
